A clean grid, ready to fill in by hand
Blank calendar template
This page gives you the same calendar engine as the rest of the site, with one difference: holiday highlighting starts turned off, so the grid you see is as plain and uncluttered as possible before you print it. Every date is still a real, correctly placed day of the week, this is not an undated grid, but with the color and labels stripped back there is more visual space in each day cell to write in your own appointments, deadlines or notes by hand.
What "blank" means on this page
To be direct about it: this is a real, dated calendar grid, not an empty one with no days at all. What changes here is that US federal holidays are not highlighted by default, so there is no colored background or bold text competing for attention on any given square. You can still turn holiday highlighting back on with the checkbox above the grid if you want it, and turn it back off again just as easily. If what you actually need is an official dated year with every holiday clearly marked, the 2026 calendar and 2027 calendar pages start with holidays on instead.
Good uses for a plain calendar grid
A stripped-back grid works well anywhere you plan to add your own information by hand or by editing a printed page: a habit tracker, a simple household chore rotation, a reading log, a fitness or meal plan, or a basic project timeline sketched out across a month. Because the layout is identical to the fully decorated version, just with holiday styling turned off, switching between the two is instant, no separate template to hunt down.
- Extra visual room per day cell once the holiday highlighting is gone
- Still a correctly dated grid for the year or month you choose, weekdays line up exactly right
- Print in the same clean, ink-friendly layout as any other page on this site
- Switch holiday highlighting back on any time with a single checkbox
Choosing a year or a single month
This page's grid defaults to the current year and steps forward or backward with the arrow buttons, the same navigation used on the homepage. If you would rather work with one large month at a time instead of twelve small ones, the monthly calendar page gives each day far more room, useful if you plan to write more than a word or two per square. For a version with holidays already marked for a specific year, see 2026, 2027 or the archived 2025 page.
